Hi Erin. I work with Peter and followed your updates on Caring Bridge, and now your blog. Here's a tip on rain barrels: you might be able to get one for free from the Philadelphia Water Department! I did, but maybe that was because I live in Mt. Airy, in the Wissahickon watershed. The Water Department's stormwater management section co-sponsors rain barrel work shops with local groups; mine was through the Friends of the Wissahickon. I couldn't find the list of upcoming workshops on the Water Department's web page but this page has a contact you could call if you wanted: http://www.garden.org/eventCalendar/index.php?q=view&id=8794. Good luck with the rain barrel.

I love reading your blog. You've got such a great writing style. Ever think about publishing?
